Student Time ManagementTip #79 Quiz Yourself College students across the country have told me how much this one little tip that they heard in one of my seminars has saved them time. Here’s how it works. As you study, start with some questions you imagine that you would put on a test if you were the professor of this class. Review or read with these in mind. After about 15 to 25 minutes, put your material down and quiz yourself. Actually state the answers completely in your head. It is not, repeat, NOT good enough for you to blow this off and say, well, I know it, I just can’t put it into words. Well, if you can’t put it into words, you don’t have a firm enough grasp of the material yet. And since most material in school builds on what came before it, it doesn’t make any sense for you to continue to review if you haven’t grasped what you’ve looked at so far. So stop, quiz yourself, and when you’ve learned that section, move on. ****************************************** Nine-time published author and highly sought after speaker Crystal Jonas is an expert in helping college and college-bound students make it through school with less stress and more fun.
