Student Time ManagementTip #29 Burn the “To Do” List In my CD program “The Power of Purpose: The Art of Living in Excellence,” I teach people how to get more goodies with less effort. In that program, I explain why I’m am not, repeat – not, a fan of the “to do” list IF you do not have already written down, values, goals and plans. The “to do” list that’s unconnected to a bigger picture is just giving you a false sense of security. Sure, you may think you’re getting a lot done, but is what you’re getting done what really matters? Can you look back over the last year and say, “Wow! I am so much closer to my big goals?” If not, why not? Here’s what to do. First, write out your values, then your goals, then your plans. NOW, you can write out your action plan for this week. If you’ve written goals before, but lost momentum because, well, life happens, go to: http://qualitycareertraining.com/Success_Store.htm and see if “The Power of Purpose” would be helpful. In there, I teach people how to create magnetic goals that get and keep them excited and consistently moving forward. ****************************************** Nine-time published author and highly sought after speaker Crystal Jonas is an expert in helping college and college-bound students make it through school with less stress and more fun.
